ACDC_Q partners review strong technical progress during second online consortium meeting

The ACDC_Q consortium held its second online consortium meeting on 1 October 2026, bringing together project partners to review progress achieved during months 13-21 and plan the next phase of the project.

During the meeting, Work Package leaders provided updates on their ongoing activities, key achievements, challenges, and upcoming priorities.

WP1 presented progress in diamond technology development. Several promising results were reported.

WP2 highlighted advances in sensor integration technologies.

WP3 reported ongoing preparations for prototype integration and testing.

Dissemination and communication activities were presented within WP4, including updates on standardisation-related developments and ongoing dissemination efforts. WP5 reported progress in market uptake activities, including the establishment of the project’s Industrial Advisory Board (IAB), which will support the assessment of market opportunities and user needs.

The consortium also reviewed project management activities, discussed reviewer recommendations following the recent project review, and assessed the current status of project risks and mitigation measures.

The final session focused on planning activities for the upcoming M24 midterm technical report and defining priorities for the next reporting period.

The meeting concluded with the decision to hold the next consortium meeting in March 2027 in Hasselt, where partners will continue advancing the development of compact diamond-based quantum sensing technologies.
